Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, took decisive steps during a visit to different schools in District Larkana on 05-01-2024.
During the visit, it was shockingly discovered that Boys Primary School, Chawan, District Larkana was closed during school hours.
Expressing serious concern, Mr. Detho directed the District Education Officer (DEO) to take immediate action against the negligent school teacher responsible for this blatant violation of educational rights.
Responding promptly to the Chairperson’s directive, Mr. Anees Hussain Jalbani, the DEO, took immediate action and suspended Mr. Muhammad Waris, S/o Saindad Khan Channo, citing his negligence as the reason the official suspension notice is under letter No. DEO(P)/023/2024, dated 05-01-2024.
This incident underscores the critical need for accountability in the education system.
