Two Arrested for Torture of Boy

LAHORE: The Hanjarwal police reportedly arrested two suspects for allegedly subjecting a minor boy to brutal torture here on 15th August.

Identified as Ali Hassan and Rehan, the suspects were traced through various CCTV cameras’ footage soon after a video clip of the incident surfaced on social media, showing them severely torturing an 8-year-old boy.

The boy, who was left with serious chest and head injuries because of the torture, has been hospitalised.

A police official said that on the complaint filed by the boy’s parents, a case has been registered against the arrested suspects, who have been handed over to the investigation wing for further action.
