FDE Schools Adopting Educational Technology

1 min read

Islamabad: As part of its ongoing efforts to modernise public education, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), on the directions of Federal Secretary Education Nadeem Mahbub, is accelerating the adoption of educational technology across schools through a range of digital interventions aimed at strengthening teaching practices and improving learning outcomes. A key step in this effort was a comprehensive training session conducted under the EdTech Digital Interventions program, hosted at IMCG (PG) G-10/4.

The session brought together 400 educators from all schools and colleges and served as a practical demonstration of how digital tools and platforms are being integrated into classroom teaching across the system.

The importance of this initiative was underscored by the visit of Secretary Education who interacted with educators and institutional leadership during the session.

The secretary emphasised that EdTech interventions were essential for fostering inclusive, modern, and high-quality educational environments across all sectors, and highlighted their role in reducing disparities between urban and rural classrooms.
