Complainant Daud Khan told the police that a few days ago he had exchanged harsh words with his neighbour Muhammad Chand alias Kale Khan when he asked him to not let his pet loose.

A press release issued by the DPO office said that after DPO Kamran Asghar took notice of the incident, police registered a case against the dog owner under section 289 of the PPC and arrested him.
