Teacher Slapped For Preventing Cheating

Mithi. In a disturbing incident at an examination center in Dano Dandhal High School, Nagarparkar, a teacher was slapped by an individual for preventing cheating during matriculation exams. The case came to light after the session judge of Tharparkar took notice of the incident and ordered legal action.

According to details, the incident occurred when accused Manzoor Junejo slapped on-duty teacher Vinod Kumar for not allowing his brother to cheat during the examination. Initially, the matter was resolved informally by the school’s principal and the teacher involved, with the accused offering an apology. A video of the forced apology went viral on social media, sparking public outrage.

In response, the session judge demanded a report from the SSP Tharparkar, inquiring whether any legal action had been initiated. Four days after the judge’s notice, police registered a formal case against Manzoor Ahmed Junejo at the Dano Dandhal police station. The case was filed on behalf of SI Lal Malook.
