RAWALPINDI: At least three minors were sexually assaulted in three seperate incidents across Rawalpindi, police have said.

According to the police, a 13-year-old deaf and mute girl was allegedly raped in the Naseerabad area, while a teenage housemaid was subjected to rape in Bahria Town.

The alleged rape of the deaf and mute girl was discovered during a medical examination after her health deteriorated, according to a police report.

A police spokesperson stated that a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s father, and the suspect has been arrested. The complainant, a resident of Abu Bakar Colony, stated in the First Information Report (FIR) that his teenage daughter complained of ill health and was taken to a doctor, who informed the family that she was pregnant.

“My 13-year-old daughter is deaf and mute. She cannot even speak,” the complainant stated in the FIR. He further noted that after his wife questioned their daughter using sign language, the girl identified the suspect as a resident of the neighbouring Chakra area.

A case was formally registered following the girl’s medical examination. Police confirmed the suspect is in custody and will be brought to justice.

In the second incident, a teenage housemaid was allegedly raped by a fellow domestic worker at a residence in Bahria Town, Phase VIII. A resident of Dhok Awan, Islamabad, stated in the FIR that her 15-year-old daughter, had been working for about one-and-a-half years at a house in Sector G, Phase VIII, Bahria Town.

She stated that a youth identified as MM also worked there. In the first week of March 2026, the employer contacted the complainant’s brother-in-law, offering a revised arrangement where the teenager would work day and night. The employer offered an additional Rs5,000 alongside accommodation, raising her monthly salary from Rs20,000 to Rs25,000, and promised to take full responsibility for her.

The complainant’s brother-in-law agreed to the terms.

However, the complainant alleged that the female employer, in connivance with her employee MM, began harassing and threatening her daughter.

The FIR further alleged that the suspect, with the employer’s consent, began repeatedly raping the girl, which continued until May 13, 2026. An ultrasound report later confirmed the teenager was pregnant.

When the victim informed her female cousin, the cousin and her brother visited the employer’s house to report the matter. The complainant stated that the employer refused to listen and threatened them with dire consequences, saying, “Do whatever you want to do.” Following the complaint, the employer terminated the girl’s employment.

The complainant had temporarily traveled to Rahim Yar Khan following the death of her niece and returned on Sunday. Upon her return, she lodged an FIR with the Rawat police on Tuesday. The suspects have not yet been arrested.

In a third incident, a 12-year-old boy was abducted and sexually abused in the Pirwadhai area while going to buy biscuits from a nearby shop. The victim’s father lodged an FIR with the Pirwadhai police on Tuesday. He stated that after returning home from work, his son narrated that he had left the house at around 2pm when an unidentified motorcyclist took him hostage, threatened to kill him, and forced him onto the motorcycle. The suspect took the boy to a small room located on the railway grounds and forcibly assaulted him.

A case has been registered, and police have launched a search for the suspect.
