Five Arrested For Rape Of Teenage Boy In Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR: The Dunyapur City Police claimed on July 23 to have arrested five alleged rapists for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy by blackmailing him through a video shot.

According to a Lodhran Police spokesperson, the prime rapist ‘S’ allegedly lured the victim ‘A’ to his cousin’s house in Fazal Colony and raped him after drugging him. He also recorded a video of the incident.

Later, the spokesperson claimed the accused showed this video to his four friends of different areas and they blackmailed the victim and repeatedly raped him.

According to the FIR, all the five suspects frequently raped the boy.

The victim’s father claimed when he saw his son being upset and asked him, he narrated his ordeal and they approached the police.

The spokesperson said that after conducting raids at different hideouts of the suspects, the police arrested all the five accused.

The victim has been referred for a medical examination at the Dunyapur THQ Hospital.
