Faith Healer Arrested For Rape Of Follower’s Daughter

TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad’s Chak Jhumra police on 15th July arrested a so-called faith-healer who allegedly raped a 16-year-old daughter of his follower, working as a house help at his residence.

The city police spokesperson said a police team formed by the city police officer, headed by Madina Town police SP, arrested the suspect in a raid on a place in Faisalabad where he was hiding.

As per police sources, the girl, daughter of a follower of the suspect, was left at his house to work as a maid.

The survivor girl told the police that the suspect had been raping her for the last four months.

Her medical examination revealed that she was pregnant.

Taking notice of the heinous crime, Punjab Women Protection Authority (PWPA) chairperson Hina Pervez Butt visited on Sunday the house of the survivor on behalf of the chief minister and assured her parents of the arrest of the suspect.
