A boy was critically injured in Hijrat Colony after a drug addict slit his throat with a blade over a dispute involving Rs20, the Docks police said. The incident took place in a forested area near the seashore, where the suspect demanded Rs20 from the child. When the child told the suspect he did not have the money, the suspect slashed the boy’s throat and fled. The injured child was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
