Board’s online system crashes, students unable to submit forms

HYDERABAD:

Annual examinations of Secondary School Certificate (SSC-I and II) are scheduled to begin today (April 7) but hundreds of candidates were unable to submit their examination forms as the board’s online form submission system was down for several days.

The online portal of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad (BISEH) is so slow that students receive their admit cards a day before exams. Many did not get the crucial document even on Monday.

Students and parents reached the BISEH office to submit examination forms personally, but no one attended them, putting their academic year at risk.

Many students along with their parents reached the board office on Sunday night to submit the forms but the board staff misbehaved with them and refused to accept their forms.

The board staff is also reluctant to share details about the number of candidates and exam centres.

Meanwhile, staff members from several schools remained at the board late in the night to collect admit cards for their students, which the board had not sent to their respective schools.
