Police Reunite Two Missing Children With Parents

1 min read

Police have reunited two children, who had gone missing in the Tariq Road area, with their parents. According to Sindh Police Madadgar 15, a citizen had informed the police about the children. For finding the children, the parents expressed gratitude to the police.

The incident of the missing children in the Tariq Road area took place within the jurisdiction of the Ferozabad police. A resident called the Madadgar 15 police helpline and informed police about two children who had been lost.

Police immediately responded to the complaint, and arrived at the location where they took the children into custody. According to the Madadgar 15 police, the authorities took all possible measures to locate the children’s parents, eventually finding their address. After verifying the necessary details police handed the children over to the parents.

The Madadgar 15 police stated that the parents were overjoyed upon being reunited with their children and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the officers. The children’s father was identified as Salman. The two children had gone missing the previous day.

Meanwhile, there has been no progress in tracing the two missing children from the Garden area, as their whereabouts remain unknown. Similarly, in the kidnapping-cum-murder case of minor boy Sarim in North Karachi, the Karachi police have still not apprehended any suspect.

Despite the ongoing investigations, police have so far been unsuccessful in making any significant breakthroughs in both cases. In the Garden area, four-year-old Alian and six-year-old Ali mysteriously went missing on January 14. They had gone out to play but did not return.

In the other case, seven-year-old Sarim went to a madrasa on January 7 but did not return. His body was later found in a water tank on January 18. Police said a special four-member team was working to solve the case of Sarim’s killing and they were particularly suspicious of nine individuals. The team has reportedly obtained important evidence as well.

However, despite these efforts, the investigation has not yet yielded any conclusive results or led to any arrest. The explanation from the police came after family members and relatives of Sarim protested against the lack of arrests in the case. In response to the protest, senior police officials assured the family that strict action would be taken against any officers found negligent in the investigation.
