Police officials said that they conducted a raid on a place along a road leading into a riverine area in the Ghotki district and recovered the girl. They said that they had informed the Surjani town police, which had registered a case of the girl’s disappearance, and the victim’s parents about her recovery.

As soon as Manahil’s heirs or parents reached the police station in Ghotki, they would hand her over to them after completion of the legal procedure, said the police officials.
