Woman along with Kids kills Husband

BAHAWALPUR: A woman, along with her three children, including two daughters and four unidentified accomplices, allegedly killed her husband and concealed his body in a trunk at their house in Basti Kukranwali, within the jurisdiction of Baghdadul Jadid police station in Bahawalpur.

According to police PRO Naeem Ahmed, a team, accompanied by the deceased Abdul Majid’s brother, recovered the decomposed body from a locked house on Monday. The body was found inside a trunk, emitting a foul smell.

A first information report has been registered under sections 302, 148, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code at Baghdadul Jadid police station on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Khadim Hussain.

The complainant alleged that the victim’s wife, Bashiran Mai, had ongoing domestic disputes with her husband. He further claimed that Bashiran, in connivance with her son Shair Zaman (21), daughters Rukhsabna Bibi (17) and Sajida Bibi (15), along with four unidentified men, murdered Abdul Majid.

After allegedly committing the crime, the suspects concealed the body in a trunk, locked the house, and fled the scene.

Police shifted the body to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for postmortem examination. No arrests have been made so far.
