Committee on the Rights of the Child Concluding Observations/Recommendations 2026

1 min read

The NCRC Child Advisory Panel (CAP) comprises 37 children from across Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory and Gilgit-Baltistan. CAP members come from diverse backgrounds, including children from religious minorities, the transgender community and children with disabilities. They worked collaboratively to make the Committee on the Rights of Child Concluding Observations more understandable for children in Pakistan.

Divided into 15 small groups of 2–3 members each, the children shared responsibility by splitting the document into sections and simplifying each part into child-friendly language. They also incorporated visuals and graphics to make the content more engaging and easier to understand.

Throughout the process, the work was closely guided and supervised by the NCRC, ensuring accuracy while preserving the children’s perspectives. This initiative enabled children to better understand key issues affecting their rights in Pakistan and highlighted the actions the Government must take to address them.
