BAHAWALPUR: Three minors, including a seven-year-old girl and two boys, were allegedly raped in separate incidents in Multan and Lodhran, while two women were raped in Narowal and Bahawalnagar.

In Multan’s Shah Rukn-i-Alam Colony, a seven-year-old maid was reportedly raped after her employer sent her to a different house. The alleged survivor was found in poor health after three days and admitted to a hospital.

Her mother reported the incident to the police but an FIR was only registered eight days later. The child remains under treatment at anti-rape ward of the Nishtar Hospital. Also, in Lodhran, two boys were raped.

In the first incident, a seven-year-old boy was lured by a suspect to a house in Lodhran city, where he was raped. His cries alerted nearby residents, who came to rescue him, but the suspect fled. The police later arrested the suspect.

In the second case, an 11-year-old boy was taken to a tubewell room in Kahror Pucca, where he was raped.

The child was rescued by locals, while the police arrested the suspect.
