Suspect Held For Raping Two Minor Brotohers In Sialkot

NAROWAL: Sialkot police claimed on 11th February to have arrested two suspects, one of them for sexually assaulting two minor brothers and the other for allegedly raping a widow, in separate cases.

In the first incident, Ghulam Murtaza, a resident of Raipur Awan village in Sialkot district complained to the police that the suspect ‘H’, sexually assaulted two minor sons of his sister by trespassing her house.

He said the 12 and eight-year-old children were playing on the roof of their house at Ahmed Nagar Bonga village in Sialkot when the suspect barged in and sexually assaulted both. He said the children revealed that the suspect had been subjecting them to sexual assaults in the past as well.

The police registered an FIR under section 376 iii of PPC against the suspect, who went into hiding.

As per a police spokesman, Sialkot District Police Officer Faisal Shahzad took notice of the incident and formed a team headed by a deputy superintendent of police for immediate arrest of the suspect.

He claimed that the police team traced and arrested the suspect within 48 hours with the help of human intelligence and advanced technology.

The DPO has announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the members of the police investigation and raiding teams for the immediate arrest of the suspect.
