Man Held For Attempting To Burn Ex-wife, Children

LAHORE: A man who attempted to burn his ex-wife and children alive was arrested. A woman from Ghaziabad called 15 emergency helpline and reported that her ex-husband had tried to set her and the children on fire by pouring petrol on them.

The woman, however, managed to escape to a neighbour’s house. The Safe City Authority spokesman said the police reached the site and protected the women and children. A case has been filed against the accused. Further legal proceedings are ongoing.
