Girl Shot Dead For Refusing Marriage Proposal

TOBA TEK SINGH: A female student was shot dead on 28th June by a vagabond in Partapnagar locality of Faisalabad for refusing his marriage proposal.

Reports said accused Ahmad Afzal of Rahmania Road used to catcall deceased Fatima Bibi when she went to a tuition centre. The victim snubbed his attempt over which the accused opened fire. She died instantly when a bullet hit her in the neck.

Factory Area police shifted the body to the DHQ hospital for autopsy.

Faisalabad CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar said the suspect had been arrested. Sources said the accused told the police that he killed her for refusing his marriage proposal.
