Drug Addict Kills Brother, Niece

GUJRAT: A drug addict allegedly shot his brother and niece dead on 27th October after being admonished for using narcotics at Badoki Gosiyan village in Gujranwala Cantonment police precincts.

As per police, the suspect, Sharafat, a drug addict was scolded by his brother Shafqat at their home. This infuriated Sharafat, who opened fire, leaving his brother and niece Saba dead on the spot. The suspect then fled the scene.

On being informed of the incident, police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital for autopsy. A team from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), collected evidence from the crime scene.

Police are yet to register a case.

Gujranwala operation SSP has appointed Civil Lines SP to conduct an inquiry into the case and arrest the suspect.
