Couple Tortures Girl For Refusing To Work As Maid

TOBA TEK SINGH: Madina Town police of Faisalabad arrested on 26th September 2024 a couple for torturing a teenage girl, shaving her head as a punishment for refusing to work as a maid.

According to the first information report (FIR), investigating officer Muhammad Atif Shahzad said Alisha Bibi (15), a resident of Chak 409-GB, Tandlianwala, told the police that she was brought to Faisalabad by a couple for a job from her village.

They handed her over to a trader Hamza Khalid of locality Ghalib City to do the job of a maid but she refused to work at his home. At this, Hamza and his wife, Sonia Bibi, overpowered her and tortured her while they also shaved her head.

Police spokesperson said Alisha had been shifted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital for a medical examination.
