The complainant said that on 17 February, he went to see Qamar’s family at Dipalpur. When he reached there, the main door of the house was open. As he entered the house, he saw Haseeb’s body was hanging from an iron window with a piece of cloth wrapped around the boy’s neck.

He said no other family member was in the house, except the victim’s five-year-old sister.

A police team led by the city SHO reached the spot and shifted the body to hospital for an autopsy after the crime scene unit collected forensic evidence.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother and brother also returned home.

The police on the report of Moazzam, registered a case against unidentified suspect(s).
