The body of an unidentified teenage boy was discovered hanging from a tree in the Seaview area. According to police, the boy had been subjected to a sexual assault before being murdered.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a post-mortem examination, which revealed that the boy had been strangled. The police surgeon, Summaiya Syed, confirmed that the autopsy findings suggested sexual violence.

A passer-by, Afzal, alerted the police to the presence of the body, which was hanging from a tree on main Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue near a fast-food outlet. The police quickly responded and removed the body from the tree, shifting it to the JPMC for further examination.

Following the post-mortem, the body was taken to an Edhi morgue for identification. The police have launched an investigation into the matter and are treating it as a premeditated murder. An FIR has been lodged under murder and rape sections of the Pakistan Penal Code on behalf of the state.
