Police Arrest Suspect in Brutal Murder of Minor Girl

In a shocking turn of events, police have apprehended the alleged killer of a seven-year-old girl who was found dead in Sehgalabad village on January 27. The suspect, known to the victim’s family, is believed to have committed the heinous crime following a dispute with the victim’s maternal uncle.

According to reports, Komal Shehzadi went missing on the fateful day and was later discovered lifeless near the fields, with fatal injuries inflicted upon her. Addressing a press conference, District Police Officer Retired Captain Wahid Mehmood disclosed that the accused had admitted to killing the minor girl, stating that he had taken her away on January 27 and brutally murdered her using a sickle.

The officer further revealed that the accused had a personal vendetta against the victim’s maternal uncle, which led to the gruesome act. The accused’s mother and brother have also been implicated in the case for attempting to cover up the crime.

Villagers recount that the accused was familiar to the victim and had often interacted with her. The motive behind the murder is still unclear, but investigations are underway to uncover the truth.
