Police Rescue kidnapped Boy

DERA GHAZI KHAN: In Kot Mubarak area, police claied to have recovered a kidnapped boy from the Ladi gang, bringing him home after days in captivity.

Police said the gang had abducted a young boy named Muhammad Siddiq from Mouza Umrani and demanded a ransom of Rs20 million from his family.

The gang had taken the child deep into the tribal mountainous area of Ladi, where they were hiding.

Acting on intelligence reports, a special police team led by Kot Mubarak Police used modern tracking technology and launched an operation in the rugged terrain. During the raid, the kidnappers managed to flee under the cover of darkness, but the police successfully rescued the abducted boy unharmed.

The child’s father, Khair Muhammad, along with his relatives, expressed deep gratitude to District Police Officer (DPO) Captain (retd) Tariq Wilayat and the entire police team for their brave and timely action. They also raised slogans in support of the Dera Ghazi Khan Police for ensuring the boy’s safe recovery.

A search operation has been launched to trace and arrest the fleeing suspects.

Commending the team’s performance, DPO Captain (R) Tariq Wilayat said that operations against criminal gangs like Ladi Gang would continue without fear or hesitation.

“Protecting the lives and property of citizens is our top priority,” he said, adding that no lawbreaker will be spared.
