ISLAMABAD: Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Nadeem Mahbub asked the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) to share its software system with all the provincial Boards and to arrange training sessions for teachers to strengthen assessment practices and capacity at the provincial level.
He issued directions during a meeting of the FBISE called to review the examination reforms and restructuring initiatives undertaken by the board. The secretary appreciated the efforts of FBISE and commended the comprehensive measures adapted to reform, including paper setting, conduct and assessment at the secondary and higher secondary levels.
It was decided that the FBISE will extend all-out necessary support to all other boards in Pakistan to improve their examination systems, where required. The IBCC will arrange a coordination meeting with all education boards to take forward the agenda.
The secretary said the ministry was committed to improving assessment standards across the country and ensuring equitable, transparent and modern examination practices for all students.
