CASE: Khanewal Kuhna police registered a case on December 15 against a man and his 10 accomplices for allegedly harassing a first-year student and her three minor sisters.

According to the FIR, complainant Syeda Umme Farwa, daughter of Syed Maajid Hussain Naqvi of Station Mor, Khanewal, stated that her father is elderly and unwell, and she has no brothers. To support her family and fund her and her sisters’ education, she set up a burger stall.

She claimed the suspect first visited a month ago, left Rs2,000 as a tip after ordering food, and later returned to leave a chit with his mobile number. On another occasion, he called her to his table, but she refused. After her father intervened and asked the man not to return, the suspect, along with 10 unidentified accomplices, allegedly began harassing her and her sisters (aged 12, 14, and 16).

The suspect repeatedly shouted at them and even knocked on their door at 2 am causing fear and distress. The complainant also alleged that the suspect is a known criminal with multiple cases registered against him at various police stations.
