RUSTAM:

A teenage boy has his tongue slashed by a brutal robber in the Kotarpan area of Rustam for not being able to provide money. The unknown assailant managed to flee from the scene of the crime.

The police have registered a case based on the boy’s statement and have started investigating the matter.

According to reports, the victim, Harem, son of Muslim, a resident of Kotarpan, gave his statement to the police while injured. He stated that after Maghrib prayer, he brought groceries home and was on his way to the local madrassah near the Kotarpan mosque. Near the madrassah, an unknown assailant, who had his face covered, approached him and pointed a gun at him, demanding money.

When Harem said he had no money, the assailant ordered him to stick out his tongue. When he did, the assailant suddenly cut his tongue with a blade, causing severe injury.

The victim accused the unknown assailant of both threatening him with a gun and cutting his tongue. The police have registered a case against the unidentified attacker and have an investigation, which they hope will reveal the facts.
