Child Predator Arrested In KP

PESHAWAR:

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspect in the Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for sexually assaulting children, recording the acts, and subsequently blackmailing them. The operation led to the recovery of nearly 500 indecent videos of young children. A raid was conducted based on a confidential report from an international rights organisation.

According to the FIA spokesperson, the Abbottabad Cyber Crime Circle conducted the operation, resulting in the arrest of the suspect involved in creating indecent videos of minors. A crackdown against those involved in cybercrimes was initiated on the directives of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

The suspect has been identified as Muhammad Miskeen and he was found to be involved in the sexual exploitation of young children. The action against him was taken in light of the international organisation’s report.

The suspect was also providing religious education to these children. In addition to the sexual exploitation, the suspect recorded images and videos of the abuse and was involved in sharing these indecent videos online.

He was apprehended in Abbottabad, where the raid resulted in the seizure of four mobile phones, a laptop, a CPU, and an internet device. The electronic devices confiscated from the suspect contained 497 videos of sexual abuse involving children.
