Boy killed after resisting sexual assault

LARKANA: A teenage boy was killed reportedly when he resisted two suspects` attempt to subject him to sexual assault in Jogi locality in the jurisdiction of Ratodero police station on 23rd May 2024. Police had arrested a man, who was suspected to be involved in the murder of the 13-year-old orphan boy while his companion was still at large, said Abdul Ghafoor Chutto, station house officer.

He said the pistol held by one of the suspects and trained at the boy went off when they were trying to scare the victim.

Police shifted the body to taluka hospital, he said.

The area people said the boy was shot dead when he resisted the suspects` attempt to rape him.

The victim’s mother told journalists at the taluka hospital that she was just now informed about the incident. `We have no enmity with anyone,` she said and appealed to IGP Sindh, DIG and SSP to serve her justice.
