Women, Two Children Stabbed

KARACHI:

A woman and her two children were severely injured allegedly by her husband’s relative with a sharp object at their home in Orangi Town.

Per police sources, Shahrukh had a fight with his maternal cousin Sameer and he was a suspect in the case. Following the incident, local residents transported the victims to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) where 6-year-old child Subhan Shahrukh succumbed to his injuries. The surviving victims are 35-year-old Ramsha Shahrukh and five-year-old Alizey Shahrukh. The head of the family, Shahrukh, is employed as a welder in Korangi. According to eyewitnesses, one of Shahrukh’s daughters returned from school at 1 pm and found her mother and siblings lying in a pool of blood. She ran out screaming and crying on which the neighbours rushed to the scene and found Subhan and Alizey, lying injured. Their mother, Ramsha, was injured and lying on the upper floor, with her infant daughter crying beside her, miraculously unharmed.

Local residents informed the police who rushed to the scene and summoned the Crime Scene Unit.
