Woman, Friend Arrested for Poisoning Husband, Three Daughters in Faisalabad

TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad’s Saddar police arrested on Monday a woman and her friend for poisoning her husband to death and also administering poison to her three minor daughters who were saved by doctors.

Complainant Muhammad Tahir alleged in his FIR that on July 23, his brother Azhar Ali died mysteriously at his house in Sitara Park locality on Jaranwala Road in Faisalabad while his three nieces lost consciousness.

He added that they came to know later that Azhar’s wife Asma Bibi had relations with one Babar Ali of Lahore and they both administered poison to Azhar and three daughters as a part of the plan to contract marriage.

The FIR added that Azhar died, however, his daughters were saved at the DHQ Hospital, Faisalabad, by the doctors.

The police arrested Asma and Babar.
