Two Arrested over ‘Sexual Assault’ of 10-Year-Old

KARACHI: Police have arrested two minor relatives in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl in Machhar Colony, within the remits of Sohrab Goth police station.

According to police, the incident took place when the girl’s father left her at a relative’s house while he went out for some work.

Two boys, aged 13 and 15, who were present at the house, allegedly assaulted the girl, following which her health deteriorated.

The girl’s father noticed that she was unwell after returning home and asked her about her condition. The girl subsequently disclosed the alleged assault.

Madadgar-15 police reached the location and obtained details of the incident.

Area police also arrived at the scene and shifted the girl to a hospital for a medical examination.

Police arrested both suspects and registered a case against them at Sohrab Goth police station. Further investigation is under way.
