Three-year-old abducted girl recovered in Burewala

BUREWALA: Under the leadership of DPO Vehari Tassawar Iqbal, Model Town police carried out a swift operation and safely recovered a three-year-old girl, who was abducted from Habib Colony.

According to the police, the girl was forcibly taken by unidentified abductors in a car while playing outside her house with her siblings. Following the incident, the police established immediate checkpoints and conducted raids at multiple locations.

Using modern technology and investigative expertise, the child was successfully recovered from Multan. One female suspect involved in the abduction has been arrested, while other are still at large. DSP Burewala Rana Muhammad Imran Tipu, SHO Model Town Mehr Qaiser Manzoor, along with other officers including Mehr Muhammad Abbas, Rao Yasir Nawaz, Muhammad Asif, Mirza Hussain, Muhammad Ramzan and Muhammad Ashraf led the operation.

Despite the busy Chand Raat and Eid period, the teams ensured the safe recovery of the child. DPO Tassawar Iqbal stated that the abductors’ vehicle was traced using CCTV and safe city cameras, which played a key role in the successful operation. The child’s recovery was widely welcomed by residents. The DPO handed her over to her parents in the presence of a large gathering. Citizens and the family praised the police for their timely and professional response. Investigations are ongoing, and remaining suspects are expected to be arrested soon.
