Three Rape Suspects Held in Okara

LAHORE: Okara arrested three suspects in connection with the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl.

According to a spokesperson, the suspects were identified as Khurram, Israr and Abdur Rehman. The police said an application was submitted by the victim’s family, upon which a first information report (FIR) was registered. The suspects were taken into custody during raids. Initial investigations suggest the girl had left her home four days earlier for the 25/4-L area, where Khurram, resides. Police officials stated that the victim and the suspect’s sister were classmates.

“The medical and legal examination of the affected girl has been completed, and the investigation is underway,” the police spokesperson said.
