Teacher Arrested for Torturing Student

BAHAWALPUR: The Vehari Gaggo police claimed to have arrested a teacher of a private school for allegedly torturing his student and his father.

According to police sources, Muhammad Subhan, an eighth-class student of a private school village of Adda Shah Junaid near Gaggo city, had complained to his father that his teacher, Javed Latif, tortured him with a club.

Police said that on this, the father went to the school and filed a complaint. At this, the teacher allegedly flew into rage and tortured Subhan.

The teacher was arrested and a case was registered against him after the police were informed about the incident.
