RAWALPINDI: A ninth-class student was allegedly raped in Dhoke Rajgan, Adiala Road, on Saturday, police and the victim said.

Police claimed to have detained one of the alleged rapists.

The 15-year-old victim lodged an FIR with Saddar Bairooni police, alleging that a boy used to chase her on her way to school and forcibly took her mobile phone number. She said after getting her number, he would send her messages but she never responded and also informed her older sister.

She said on Friday, someone knocked on the door of their house in the absence of her mother. When she responded, she found a seven-year-old boy standing outside, who told her that their goats had gone inside an under-construction house adjacent to their home.

She said when she went to look for her goats in the under-construction house, the suspect suddenly grabbed her and took her to a room located on the upper portion where two persons were already present.

The victim alleged that the main suspect beat her up, tore her clothes and raped her after which one of the two persons present there also sexually assaulted her.

She alleged that the third suspect did not rape her but mistreated her. After she was set free, she informed her brother who called the emergency police and recorded her statement.
