1 min read

Pakistan’s education system spans multiple levels, including compulsory education for children aged 5-16, covering pre-primary to higher secondary education, with 349,909 institutions serving over 56 million students as of 2022-23. The “ZERO OOSC Campaign” in Islamabad successfully enrolled 75,000 children within six months. However, challenges persist, particularly in regions like Balochistan, highlighting the need for increased investment in both formal and non-formal education to enhance access, retention, and overall literacy.
