Boy Raped By Fellow Students At Seminary In Gujrat

GUJRAT: An 11-year-old student of a madressah (seminary) was allegedly gang-raped by his four fellow students, who also recorded a video of the episode, at Kotla Qasim Kham village in Lalamusa Saddar police precincts.

The police claimed to have arrested all the four suspects aged between 13 and 16 years.

Nawaz Gujjar of Thargla village lodged a complaint with the police that his grandson ‘Z’ had been staying and studying at a seminary at Kotla Qasim Khan village for the last one year.

He said that when he went to visit his grandson at the seminary on Sunday, he was not present in his room. He said that during the search for the boy, he heard his screams from another room of the seminary. He said that when he opened the door, he saw that his grandson was being raped by one of the students, while three others were recording a video.

Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case against the four minor suspects under sections 375A and 290 of the Pakistan Penal Code and started an investigation.

A spokesman for Gujrat police says that all four suspects had been arrested by Lalamusa Saddar police.
