Girls Outshine Boys In Swat SSC Exam Results

MINGORA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat has announced the results of the annual matriculation examinations 2025, wherein girls outshined boys in overall and general group positions.

Kashmala Habib, daughter of Habibullah and a student of Al-Zuhar Education Institute, Panr, Mingora, secured the top position by scoring 1177 out of 1200 marks. Her roll number was 234277.

The second and third positions were claimed by students of Cadet College Swat. Azlan Ali Shah, son of Shah Dauran (Roll No. 241074), secured 1175 marks to take second place, while Amir Zaib Amir, son of Taj Zaib (Roll No. 241100), took third position with 1172 marks.

Girls also dominated the general group of Class 10. Saman Bibi, daughter of Faqir Khan from Government Girls High School Chenglay, topped the group with 1043 marks (Roll No. 206167). The second position went to Sada Gul, daughter of Syed Rehman from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Barikot, Swat (Roll No. 200899), with 1041 marks. Samreen Bibi, daughter of Hazrat Ali and a private candidate from Shangla (Roll No. 280475), secured the third position with 1013 marks.

According to BISE Swat, a total of 43,380 candidates had appeared in the Class 10 Science Group, of which 34,376 passed, yielding a pass percentage of 79.24%. In the General Group, 1,989 out of 4,348 candidates passed, with a pass percentage of 45.75%. The overall pass rate for Class 10 was 76.19%, with 36,365 successful candidates out of 47,728.

For Class 9, 43,985 students appeared in the Science Group, and 20,664 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 46.89%. In the General Group, 803 out of 5,306 candidates were declared successful, giving a pass rate of 15.13%. Overall, 21,467 students passed out of 49,291, making the total Class 9 result 43.55%.

A spokesperson for BISE Swat said that the results have been uploaded to the board’s official website and also sent to students via SMS. The board extended congratulations to all position holders and wished a bright future for the successful candidates.
