Police Rescue Minor Girl Within 24 Hours Of Abduction, Key Suspect Arrested

In a swift and well-coordinated operation, Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police on 25-July-2025 recovered a three-year-old girl, Rehana, who was abducted from Shahnawaz Bhutto Colony. The key suspect involved in the kidnapping had also been arrested.

The operation was led by Station House Officer (SHO) Sarfraz, popularly known as “Commando,” who, along with his team, utilised modern technical tools, local surveillance, and intelligence sources to trace and rescue the child within 24 hours.

The police sources confirmed that the operation was executed with utmost secrecy and professionalism to ensure the child’s safety. During interrogation, the arrested suspect revealed that the motive behind the abduction was to demand ransom money to secure the release of his brother, currently in police custody in Manghopir. The suspect was a relative of the victim’s family and admitted to orchestrating the kidnapping in an attempt to blackmail the child’s parents.

Local residents and the victim’s family praised the police for their timely response. They commended the team’s dedication, efficiency, and sense of public service. Further investigation is underway, and more details related to the case are expected to emerge soon.
