LAHORE: A woman was allegedly kidnapped along with her three children in the Sundar area here the other day.

The police lodged a first information report (FIR) on the complaint of the woman’s father Mohammad Rafique, against unknown kidnappers and launched investigations into the incident.

The police reports suggested that Rukshana had gone along with her children Fatima (10), Mahnoor (7), and Ahmad (5), out of the city on July 13.

A police official quoted the complainant as saying that he tried to contact her on her mobile phone but to no avail.

He then alerted all the close relatives to trace his daughter and her children, he said adding that despite hectic efforts they couldn’t trace her.

The official said Sundar police lodged a kidnapping case and launched investigations.

To a question, he said the family provided no important clue to help trace the missing woman and her children.

He said they were investigating the kidnapping case on some possible factors, including the domestic issues.
