KARACHI: Nothing less than a miracle: missing minors found safe

The South Zone Police found the missing child and handed him over to his family.

According to the spokesperson for DIG South, on February 2, a citizen named Sher Afzal son of Gul Khan had filed a missing report at the Boat Basin police station about his 12-year-old son Muhammad Shakeel.

According to the father, Muhammad Shakeel had left home in the morning to play with his friend. During the game, both the children went to the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi from where his friend returned but Shakeel did not return.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the presence of an abandoned child in DHA Phase 8 and took him into custody. After verification, Shakeel was handed over to his father Sher Afzal.

Meanwhile, Noor Zainab, a 13-year-old girl who went missing from Korangi area on February 1, has been found at her friend’s house. According to police, Noor Zainab was found at a house in Korangi 51C. The girl had gone to her friend’s house with her after returning from school.

According to the police, the girl said that her mother used to torture her, so she left home. A case of the girl’s missing was registered at Zaman Town police station on the complaint of her father. Zainab has told police that she is fed up with the misbehaviour of her family. Police have handed over the girl to her parents after legal formalities.
