SI Remanded in FIA Custody For 2 More Days In Minors’ Kidnapping Case

ISLAMABAD. Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shahzad Gondal 20-January-2025 handed over Sub-Inspector Sohaib Ali Pasha of the federal police, arrested for alleged rape and kidnapping of minors, to the FIA on an additional two-day physical remand here.

The FIA officials presented the arrested sub-inspector in court after completion of his three-day physical remand and requested for his five-day further remand. The investigating officer said the accused revealed during the investigation that he kept minors in illegal detention at the police station. Further investigation was yet to be conducted, the FIA stated adding that five-day more physical remand was required. The court approved a two-day physical remand of the accused. A case was registered against the accused in the FIA under the Torture and Custodial Act and other provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code.
