Police have registered a case and started a search after the abduction of two children in the Garden West area.

Five-year-old Aalian and six-year-old Ali went missing from Garden West on 14-January-2025 while playing outside their homes. Their parents have registered a case at the Garden police station.

The FIR No 12/25 was registered on the complaint of Aalian’s mother Zainab, wife of Younis. She informed the police that she worked at a gym and found her son missing when she returned home.

When she asked Aalian’s father about him, he told her that the boy had gone outside to play. When the boy did not return after some time, she searched for him outside and asked a neighbour to find out that his son Ali had also gone outside to play with Aalian and like Aalian, he had also not returned.

After an unsuccessful search, Zainab reported the matter to the police. Police officials said efforts had been launched to locate the children, but no progress had been made yet.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the kidnapping of two children.

Officials said the CM ordered the Karachi police to immediately recover the children and submit a report.

He also ordered increase in police patrolling in Karachi and sought a detailed report about the incident from Karachi Additional IG Javed Alam Odho. Police should remain in touch with the parents of the children and immediately recover the children, ordered the CM.

The Sindh police chief, Ghulam Nabi Memon, has ordered the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) SP to use all means to immediately recover the abducted children. He also directed the AVCC to coordinate with the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) for the safe recovery of the abducted children.
