HARIPUR: A minor girl was found in unconscious condition in bushes outside her village, the police said here on 29th October.

Saddar Police quoted Tanzeela Bibi, a resident of Banda Munir Khan village, as saying that her two and half years old daughter, Zonisha was playing in the street in the morning when she went missing.

The complainant said that she searched for her but failed. However, in the afternoon the villagers spotted her in unconsciousness condition in the bushes outside the village and informed her, she told the police.

She said the right eye of the infant was carrying an injury and a cloth was wrapped around her neck. The complainant said she shifted her daughter to a local medical store where the storeowner cut the cloth tightly tied around her neck and shifted her to the trauma centre.

She, however, did not charge anyone.

Doctors at the trauma centre examined the minor girl and provided her first aid. They found no sign of assault on the minor.

The Saddar police registered a case against an unknown accused under sections 324 of the PPC and 37 of the Child Protection Act.
