Two Children Allegedly Sexually Assaulted

TAXILA: Two children were molested in separate incidents in the jurisdiction of Pindigheb and Wah police stations, police sources said.

In the first incident, a 10-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a man in Mohallah Gulzarabad in the limits of Pindigheb police station.

The victim’s mother reported to police that her husband was abroad and she was living with her son.

She said her neighbour came to her house on the pretext of delivering groceries and took her son to the upper portion of the house and allegedly sexually assaulted him. Later the boy was taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Fatehjang where medical examination confirmed the assault. Police later registered a case against the nominated accused and launched further investigation.

Separately, a boy was sexually assaulted by a man in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station.

The victim’s father told police that the suspect took his son to his house where he allegedly assaulted him and when his son voiced alarm, he fled from the scene.
