42pc Pass FBISE SSC-1 Examinations

Rawalpindi: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on August 20 announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC-1) (9th Class) Examination 2025.

The results were declared at 10 a.m. in a ceremony held at the board office, attended by Chairman BISE Rawalpindi Muhammad Adnan Khan, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Secretary Professor Amjad Iqbal Khattak, and other senior officials.

According to official figures, a total of 128,453 candidates submitted admission forms for the examination. Out of these, 125,989 students appeared, while 2,055 remained absent and 409 forms were canceled on various grounds. A total of 53,657 candidates passed, recording a pass percentage of 42.06%, while 72,312 students failed the exam. Among the participants, 62,332 were boys and 63,357 were girls, reflecting the growing participation of female students in education.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman BISE Rawalpindi Muhammad Adnan Khan lauded the efforts of the Controller of Examinations, the Secretary, and the entire board staff for ensuring transparency and timely announcement of results.
