Kidnapped Minor Girl Found Dead in Nankana

TOBA TEK SINGH: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and later found dead at Chak Allyanwala in Nankana Sahib district.

According to Warburton police, the body of Riffat Fatima was recovered from a pit near her house.

The girl’s father, Shahbazul Hassan, stated in his first information report registered under Sections 302 and 363 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) that he woke up around 3 am on Monday and found his daughter missing from her bed.

He and his father, Lashkar Hussain, searched the entire house but could not find her. They later went outside and found her body in a pit near their house.

The body was shifted to the Nankana Sahib District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.

DPO Rana Arsalan Zahid visited the girl’s family and assured them that the killers would be traced at the earliest. He also directed the formation of several police teams to investigate the case.
