Teenage Siblings Arrested for Killing Father

TOBA TEK SINGH: Police have arrested a teenage brother and sister for allegedly killing their father and burying his body in the courtyard in Mari Shah Sukhera in the Athara Hazari tehsil of Jhang.

As per details, the Kot Shakir Police registered a case on Feb 6 on the complaint of deceased’s son F, who claimed that his father went across the Jhelum River on Feb 5 but did not return. The complainant had claimed that his father might be kidnapped by someone. After registration of the case, F(15) and his sister A(13) disappeared from the area after locking their house.

Police claimed that the decomposing body was found after the smell spread in the area. When the siblings returned home after 10 days on Sunday, locality residents informed the police and they were taken into custody.

Sources claimed that during investigation, the duo confessed to axing their father to death and buried him in the courtyard after digging out a pit. Sources further claimed that the deceased’s wife had divorced him through the court due to his ‘bad attitude’. Furthermore, the sources claimed that after the divorce, the deceased used to forcibly raped his daughter A. Sources said that because of this, the siblings planned to get rid of their father, siblings and axed him to death.

However, police have so far not confirmed the reason behind the murder and said that investigation was underway and the arrested siblings had not revealed the reason for killing their father.
