Rs3.06m Released for Treatment of Cops’ Kids

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has approved the release of Rs3.06 million for the welfare of special children of police employees suffering from cerebral palsy and related conditions. According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, 102 special children have been granted Rs30,000 each, while Rs10,000 per month is being provided for the treatment and rehabilitation of such children.

So far this year, Rs65.41 million has been disbursed for their welfare. The IGP said the Punjab Police are committed to ensuring the best possible care, treatment, and rehabilitation for the special children of police personnel.
